Llamas Pyjamas Terms & Conditions & Additional Stay Information for guests booking directly with Llamas Pyjamas
Due to the nature of our accommodation being very much self contained, your welfare and safety and all Covid 19 considerations are excellent as each room or cottage has a private entrance and key pad so you are not indoors with any other guests at any time.
Guidance and facts sheet indicating how we put all safety measures in place and what we expect from our guests in terms of compliance is available for you to view on our website. As we are sure you will appreciate this is to ensure the safety of all guests and staff we do expect guests to follow please.
Reservation will be made for you on receipt of your completed booking information and your 50 % cost of your stay reservation fee or full payment reaching us. Deposits will be taken within 24 hours of your booking form reaching us.
The deposit will be taken using the card information you provided at time of booking. If the information you provided on the card is wrong or the credit/debit card that you booked with is declined then we cannot guarantee your booking will be successful. In this event we will try and contact you if your card has been declined for alternative deposit payment, but if we are not able to arrange the deposit within 24 hours of our contact we will be forced to cancel the reservation.
Once booked your deposit amount will be deducted from your balance and the remaining balance will be taken 7 days prior to arrival.
Please note bookings made for the cottage for more than 3 days are payable 6 weeks prior to your stay or in full on booking if less that 6 weeks prior to your stay. Please Contact us on 01768 866776 if you would like to settle your remaining balance any earlier than 7 days prior to your stay early.
Please Note all of our rooms are based on room only prices with maximum occupancy on each room within the price stated online. Any pets coming with you need to be added to your booking and paid for at the time of your balance being paid please
In the event of you having to cancel your booking less than 7 days before your stay every effort will be made to re-let the room. If we are able to re let the room the balance of your payment will be refunded less the deposit. If we are unable to re-let the room no refund will be given.
Visitors are responsible for their own cancellation insurance arrangements.
Cancellations for bookings made with third party agents such as Booking.com or Expedia MUST be cancelled by the guest themselves directly with those agencies as we are not able to amend their bookings.
However if you book direct with Llamas Pyjamas we can do the amendments ourselves. Failure to cancel the booking with the third party will unfortunately be charged at the full rate as this is beyond our control.
Visitors undertake to leave the rooms and their equipment and fittings as they found them in clean and tidy conditions. Visitors are responsible for any breakages or damage, and must inform the owners of any damages.
The owners reserve the right to seek compensation for any damage discovered after the guests have left using the credit/debit card details provided.
Any items used in the mini bar that have not been declared on departure, then the owners reserve the right to seek compensation for the used items and you will be charged accordingly from the credit/debit card information provided on booking.
Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms and a smoking area is available at the car park area in front of Llama Karma Kafe.
No fireworks allowed on site if staying over celebration periods please.
Guests are respectfully requested to stay within the boundaries of the rooms and their designated gardens and not to wander freely on site unaccompanied.
Quiet well-behaved dogs are permitted in our rooms and in Barn Owl Cottage at £10 per animal per night with a maximum of 2 dogs per reservation.
If staying more than one night the cost per dog in total is £20 per stay
They must not be left unattended in the room or cottage at any time and must be on a lead at all times when on site as a requirement of our Zoo licence.

Dogs can be walked off site on a nearby country track.
Permission for any other pet must be obtained before booking.
New Late Check-in and Early Check Out System
Please note that our Kafe opening hours do vary depending on seasons and demand. Due to the new cleaning regimen we are only able to offer check in from 5pm.
We will send you your self-check in details, these will not be sent until the day of your arrival or in some cases a couple of days prior for security reasons.
We will send you an email (using email address provided on booking information) with our Self Check in system instructions, they are very straight forward and we do also provide a mobile number which can be called at any time should you have any issues checking in.
Check Out is now 9am, again this is due to the current cleaning regimen which is quite lengthy and we need time for full sanitization of all the rooms to take place unfortunately. At the moment due to cleaning schedules and Covid19 we are not able to offer late check out unfortunately.
The owners retain the right of access to the property for cleaning and inspection.
The owners reserve the right to terminate the booking agreement at any stage and without refund of money if the behavior of any holidaymaker is considered unacceptable or if the number of occupants exceeds that stated on the booking form.
The Owners have a zero tolerance to behavior deemed unnecessary by guests to staff, customers and other guests. This includes in person, online and any other communication. The offending person will be asked to leave and no refund given and any corresponding authorities called.
Rooms are available from 5 p.m. on the day of arrival. Arrival before this time may mean your room is not ready and you would need to wait unfortunately but if you call during the afternoon we may be able to facilitate check in a little earlier if your room is ready.
Travel cots are provided free of charge for children under 2yrs but please bring your own bedding for your child at this time as we feel this is preferable under the circumstances.
At this time there are no additional put you up beds available for increased occupancy.
If a mistake has been made when booking please advise us to amend your booking or contact your booking provider.
Departure is requested before 9 a.m. on your final morning.
Any guests still in their room after 9am on the day of departure will be charged £10 per hour and asked to vacate. This is due to additional housekeeping costs which are timed to be compliant with our health and safety cleaning schedule.
Please Note we do have an alcohol licence at the premises and wine spirits and soft drinks can be purchased from out Takeaway “Deli Llama” throughout the day whilst open or can be placed in your room for your arrival if pre-ordered and prepaid Please see our online menu for details.
Please note by booking in to the Llamas Pyjamas Ltd your email address will be added to the email database to receive our monthly newsletter.
If you do not wish to be included on to the e-mail database then please inform us on departure.
You can also unsubscribe to the mailing list if you wish to do so at the bottom of your first e-mail received by us.
We will not use your email address for any other purposes other than to provide useful information and offers in the future in case you would like to rebook in the future.
